CAMEROON
Cameroon, Africa Outreach
Our work in Cameroon, Africa began through several of our Cameroonian church members at Freedom Christian Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Through their connection and passion for their homeland, the Lord opened the door for Ambassadors to the Nations to begin working in Cameroon.
Today, our outreach extends to several cities including Bamenda, Douala, Buea, Foumbot, and Yaoundé. Our dedicated directors, Cho and Lydie, live in North Carolina and oversee the mission work alongside faithful staff and family members in Cameroon. Together, they coordinate all of the ministry efforts for Ambassadors to the Nations across the country.
Our ministry supports several orphanages, widow outreaches, and public schools in very underdeveloped areas. We also visit local communities to assist families in need with food, clothing, and encouragement. One of our main focuses is the Mission School of Hope, which serves the precious Baka Pygmy children.
Throughout the year, we send financial support to provide food for these programs and purchase supplies to bless the families. In addition, we ship barrels of goods one to two times each year, filled with new clothes, shoes, school supplies, backpacks, and other essential items.
We are especially thankful for Beatrice, who lives in Cameroon and faithfully helps run the programs alongside Cho and Lydie. Through the generous giving of our Ambassadors to the Nations partners, we are able to continue reaching some of the most impoverished areas of the country.
Lives are being changed—both physically and spiritually—as we share the love of Jesus and meet practical needs. We truly believe that the light of Christ is shining brightly throughout Cameroon, and the seeds of love and hope being planted will produce lasting fruit for generations to come.
